Dr. Daniel Hakimi, DO, FACOG, is the founder and Medical Director of OBGYNTEAM, the flagship women's healthcare practice of OB-GYN & Infertility Services of Northern New Jersey, providing comprehensive OB-GYN care, high-risk pregnancy management, infertility services, advanced prenatal ultrasound, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and personalized women's healthcare throughout Paramus, Clifton, Bergen County, Passaic County, Northern New Jersey, New York, and the surrounding region.

Dr. Hakimi earned his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998 and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale New Haven Hospital and Bridgeport Hospital in 2002. As a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), he has dedicated his career to advancing women's healthcare through clinical excellence, surgical innovation, and lifelong medical education.

As Medical Director of OBGYNTEAM, Dr. Hakimi has successfully managed thousands of routine and high-risk pregnancies, including many of the region's most medically complex obstetrical cases. His practice is recognized for expertise in prenatal care, maternal medicine, pregnancy after Cesarean delivery, VBAC counseling, multiple prior Cesarean deliveries, infertility evaluation, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and complex pregnancy management. Dr. Hakimi developed a passion for gynecologic surgery during his residency and pursued extensive advanced surgical training. Since 2013, he has been a Da Vinci® trained robotic surgeon, performing minimally invasive procedures for fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, hysterectomy, infertility-related conditions, and selected early-stage gynecologic cancers. His surgical philosophy emphasizes precision, faster recovery, reduced postoperative discomfort, preservation of reproductive health whenever possible, and outstanding long-term patient outcomes.
