Dr. Timothy Thomas Coyle, MD

Dr. Coyle was recommended by our dentist. I thought he did great with the surgery. He removed my daughter's wisdom teeth. However, she developed an allergic reaction to the medications. Dr. Coyle was on call that weekend. After calling the hospital, the doctor called back within an hour. In the evening, on Saturday, my daughter got worse, the anti-histamine medication was not working, and the hospital could not get a hold of the doctor. I called three times. He never called back, not even the next day, or the following Monday. Needless to say, I am not impressed by the care we received. The doctor should be available in cases like that, and there is nothing wrong with giving the doctor's number to the patient for emergencies.

We were referred to Dr. Coyle by our dentist this morning. After medication and antibiotics the dentist gave us didn’t help as expected, the pain grew worse. My daughter called me at school and I drove as fast I could with her to Dr. Coyles office where we were met with empathy and kindness. He stayed late and fit us in and my daughter is resting and not in severe pain after the procedure he and his amazing team performed. Our situation is complex medically but Dr. Coyle developed a successful plan. I can’t express my gratitude fully. Columbia is so fortunate to have an oral surgeon like Dr. Coyle.

If you are looking for a great Oral Surgeon, look no further. He removed all my teeth except two because I have throat cancer. He came in on his day off to do my surgery to help me get started on my treatment. He explains everything in detail and does not sugar cote anything. He tells it like it is. This is a good man!!!!!

Would highly recommend Dr. Coyle to anyone who needs an oral surgeon. He puts you at ease with procedures and his staff follows up with phone calls to see how you are doing.

His two assistants were fabulous. They made my son feel at ease, calm and that made me feel good and not as stressed out. You could tell that these two nurses really loved their job and working with him. Dr. Coyle didn't try to rush our appointment and spent a lot of time with my husband, son and myself answering our questions and explaining things so we would understand. I don't know anything about his partners, but this particular doctor/staff- I'd recommend everytime!
