About 5 minutes during the consultation. Deeply palpated joint then states “bursitis.” Ordered MRI, handed exercises when told completed in past and causes immense pain. Poor bedside manner.

If you like to sit and wait for an hour and a half. Then wait another 1/2 hour waiting on Dr let them wait to come into the room to look at my finger(which took 10 minutes, Dr let them wait then has us wait another 20 minutes to get the paperwork done. I left. Time is money and I don’t need to go to someone who doesn’t value your time. If you go, take war and peace, you’ll have time

Dr. Starne has a very professional demeanor, he does thorough examinations, and has clear communication, often highlighting his exceptional bedside manner and ability to make complex medical information understandable. All the staff that I encountered were very courteous, professional and polite.

Dr.starnes is wonderful. This is my second time, he has seen me. He laughed at my antics. He’s professional, yet kind. Has great bedside manner. I do refer him to many people. I will continue to do so!

I came in with a list of symptoms of cubital syndrome and carpal tunnel syndrome as well as some tendon pulling. Testing showed no positive signs, so my case was an “in-betweener.” I came in with as much knowledge as I left with. I felt like I had to pull teeth to get help. All he recommended was sleeping in a brace as my job requires hand work. No information on how to control inflammatory pain or other techniques to help improve symptoms. Very disappointed with this appointment. It was my first time seeing a specialist for this, and I felt like I could have just stayed home and googled.

As a physician, Dr Starnes exemplifies everything I expect from a highly competent and experienced orthopedic specialist. As a practice, Pinnacle could benefit from an overhaul and update of their scheduling, administrative and overall communications systems with patients. In-office wait times seem to be unreasonably long as well.
