Dr. Safdar and her group are EXCELLENT physicians and they treat some of the sickest of the sick lung patients. A lot of their patients may end up on a transplant list, they are that sick. If you have Pulmonary Fibrosis or Pulmonary Hypertension, Cystic Fibrosis, etc. you definitely want to see physicians with their aptitude and bedside manner.

I was diagnosed with a rare lung disease and was a patient of Dr. Safdar and her partner, Dr. Frost for eight years. They are both excellent, intelligent, very caring physicians who are some of the few highly specialized pulmonologists in the Pulmonary Hypertension, Pulmonary Fibrosis arena. If you have one of these diseases or both, you want at least a second opinion from Dr. Safdar or Dr. Frost. I am alive today because of them....I eventually had to be transferred to another excellent practice for Transplant evaluation and transplant and that was the Dr. Harish Seethamraju's practice at Methodist in Smith Tower....again with an excellent outcome for a rare disease that 42,000 people die from every year....more than breast cancer...if you need them, call them..Now!

Dr. Safdar is a very compassionate, caring physician. She cares deeply about her patients and is an expert in the area of Pulmonary Fibrosis and Pulmonary Hypertension.She spends quality time with her patients and is one of the very best in her field. I appreciate her very much and she is never wrong!
