Dr. Ilya Sherman, DDS

From a very young age, Dr.Ilya Sherman has had a deep passion for dentistry. In 1986 he was accepted into Saint Petersburg Medical University (Russia), followed by two years in the military. He immigrated to Israel in 1990 and in 1995 received his Bachelor of Medical Sciences (B.Med.Sc.) from Tel Aviv University, followed by his Doctor of Dentistry degree (D.M.D.) in 1998 from Tel Aviv University as well. Until 2001 Dr. Sherman worked in private practice as well as a clinical instructor and lecturer at the Restorative Dentistry Department of Tel Aviv University Dental School. In 2001 he immigrated to the United States of America. In 2004 he received his D.M.D. from Boston University Dental School and since then has been working as a private practitioner in the Boston Area. During the summer of 2012, Dr. Sherman purchased a practice in Wellesley, MA. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS), International Academy of Comprehensive …Aesthetics (IACA), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). He is a preferred Invisalign provider. Dr.Sherman is the program's director of anterior aesthetics, posterior aesthetics, and dental photography at the Boston Institute of Aesthetic Dentistry in Moscow, Russia. He frequently travels to Europe as a lecturer and completes 30 hours of continuing education annually. When he is not practicing, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and traveling.
