Dr. John Frederick Largen

I saw this dentist years ago and I would never return! They did an an exam and x rays and said they didn’t see anything but would look at x rays. This was odd usually they look at x rays right a away. The next day they called me and said i had many teeth that were in terrible shape and rotting away and I needed to get in there right away. I could not afford to do all the teeth at once he said he would start with the worst one. I went in and he kept drilling and drilling then the assistant made a face like oops we made a mistake. Then he stops and says it’s bigger than I thought I need to charge you 50 more should I continue? What could I do at that point. He finished and the office set up subsequent appointments. Something seemed wrong. I went to another dentist and he looked at the x rays in front of me and said I had no cavities! So Dr. Largen either lied or mixed my x rays up with someone else’s. I am sure he drilled in and filled a health tooth. Terrible dishonest dentist… stay away!

Dr. John F Largent is knowledgeable and does great work.. Honesty is his middle name.He will not try to upsell you or do anything you don't need. Just the necessities of situation..His assistant Annabelle does amazing cleanings.She is very gentle and doesn't miss a spot. You can see they both love their work and take pride in everything they do.. Give them a call and book your next appointment..

Beg to differ on another reviewer's negative comments about hygienist Annabelle-- she's excellent! Dr. Largen has installed several crowns for me over the years without any subsequent problems.

Beware: I am usually not writing any bad reviews on a legitimate and hard working business. However, if you are looking for a new dental office, stay away with this one. I read all good google reviews and then became a new patient. As a result, it became a nightmare with all bad experiences. However, if you are existing customer and have been treat by Dr Largen, (it is very unusual when most people being treated by his dental hygienist, Annabelle.) Stay with Dr Largen. Pro: Experienced doctor. Con: Old dental office with many outdated equipment. Then his dental hygienist, Annabelle, is the trouble maker. She is the worst and unprofessional hygienist I have meet. She treated you as a trash, very rude and impatience. I have asked couple questions, but she will make attitude on me and say she have been already answered and not gonna waste time answering again. In fact, she did not answer the questions I asked. Her attitude was arrogant and made me feel I owe her a… million dollar. The worst of her, by quote, "If you do not like my service, you can go to somewhere else." That why I changed my dental office because of her. I hope this review can help someone make a right decision or you could get good luck with this old women.

I have been a patient for more than 30 years. Dr. Largen is a very conscientious and caring doctor.

Dr. Largen is an excellent dentist that is accommodating to his patients. He does not scold me when I fail to see him as regularly as I should. Dr. Largen and his staff are very friendly and professional.

Dr. Largen is very, very, very careful and caring. The office is warm and welcoming. I hate been a patient of Dr. Largen's for 20 years. I highly recommend him as your general dentist.

I've been a patient of Dr. Largen for almost 10 years. He's one of the most caring dentists around and he's also very competent at what he does. I've had several crowns done by him and not have any problems. The hygienist, Annabelle, is a competent and sweet lady. Both are great with my children as well. While I was having a root canal done by an Endodontist, Dr. Largen called the Endodontist's office both times that I was there to make sure I was okay - on his days off! The office doesn't have the bells and whistles but it's functional and clean. I've always been treated with respect, courtesy, and warmth.
