Dr. Marcia Gilbert was raised in Washington, D.C. where she attended Catholic school and completed her secondary education. She graduated from Howard University College of Dentistry in 1982 and practiced as a Licensed Dental Hygienist for 11 years.
In 1996 she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. After graduation, Dr. Gilbert joined the United States Air Force Dental Corps. Since 1999 she as been in private practice in downtown Silver Spring, Maryland.
Dr. Gilbert continues to remain current with the new dental trends and techniques. For relaxation she enjoys gardening, art & crafts, and baking. Dr. Gilbert is married, and has a large extended family in the metropolitan area.
