Dr. Mark S Grucella

Went to this office and was told I needed an $800+ procedure. They recommended their own dental insurance plan as it would save a percentage of the cost. Signed up for the $150 because they scared me into thinking I needed their treatment plan. Got a free second opinion from another dentist and who said I DID NOT need the procedure they said I did. Now they refuse to refund the "dental Insurance" money. At the second opinion office I saw the dentist for 10-15 minutes when my evaluation was done. In this office, the dentist was in and out in less than a minute. Basically, the treatment plan was done by the hygienist.

Dr. Grucella is the BEST! He is so kind and gentle. I recommend to everyone. The office has taken the fear out of going to the dentist.

Dentures is the subject matter. I worked with "A" (hint) nother affordable denture claiming company for about a year and after 5 attempts, they could not make a pair of properly fitting dentures. I did get my money that I paid refunded. I researched and interviewed dozens of dentists in three counties to find a dentist that I felt I may have some confidence in that could actually do it right. I made an appointment to see Dr. Grucella. His staff...well, they tolerated me very well. LOL VERY good staff. Dr. Grucella approached taking the molds of my jaws or gums differently than the other denture place. When I questioned the differences of approach, the explanation "made sense" and I am a technical thinker. i did not "gag" when they took the molds, for one. Each mold taken separately, as done was "perfect". Even then, Dr. Grucella was critical enough to scrutinize them and"make sure" they were "correct". I was given so many opportunities at each step, and there were several steps, to… look, feel, accept or reject any or all aspects of my new dentures. The color, size, placement, fit, feel, all CALMLY...not "hurried" or pushed...for me to decide, to see, to feel, to accept or reject. Dr. Grucella explained each step and "detail" as we went through the process. The end result? I got "perfect" teeth that were "mine" and not what I will call rushed cookie cuttered to look like everyone else's. I no more than got home and visited some friends and got a LOT of unsolicited compliments on my "teeth cleaning" and how nice they looked. (they didn't know I had dentures) I learned from this experience that dentists are like any other profession. Because a dentist has a license, because they have been in practice for 15 years, doesn't mean that they all know how to or do, make a properly fitting pair of dentures. At ANY price. I am VERY picky and normally do not refer people. But under the circumstances, I feel that people need to know, deserve to know, who they can trust. My experience with Dr. Grucella is that he is a rare find. As is his staff. They smiled a lot also in the wake of my orneriness. If you want someone to go to that does the job RIGHT, that you can have great confidence in, Dr. Grucella should be your choice.

Dr. Grucella and his staff are so kind and compassionate. They were thorough and walked me thru every step of the process.

What a great first visit! I'm so glad I chose Dr. Grucella. Between him and his hygienist Erika, I couldn't be happier!
