Mark Sampsel, dds, Sparks, NV is past retiremen.t His hand shakes, his dentistry tools are antiquated. I compare his drill to a home 3/8" drill. Slow, painful. You can smell your tooth slowly burning. His dentistry is failing and he has resorted to dishonest dentistry to stay afloat.

I had a root canal done over a year ago by a good endodontist, but due to unforeseen circumstances, I did not get the crown done immediately by my regular dentist, as I was supposed to. Several weeks ago, a piece of the tooth broke off and another part was fractured. For personal reasons, I went to Dr. Sampsel for the first time and he was able to gently remove the fractured part of my tooth and save enough of the tooth to start the work of doing the crown. He works very carefully and precisely and he did a great job. Other than a several hours of gum pain after the numbness wore off, I woke up the next morning with 100% relief and a perfectly fitted temporary crown. I am looking forward to getting my permanent crown in a few weeks. Dr. Sampsel is a very kind and gentle dentist. Even though he does not use the most advanced technology, his equipment is more than adequate to do good dental work. Don't let the simplicity of his equipment deter you from experiencing his excellent… skills as a dentist. If you are a baby boomer like me, just sit back and enjoy the relaxing feeling of "how things used to be". I highly recommend Dr. Sampsel without any hesitation.

I've been going to Dr. Sampsel for ten years. He's conservative and doesn't recommend you anything you don't need. He is so gentle I don't even feel the needle when he gives a shot. Staff are friendly and have been there for over ten years.
