Dr. Matthew A Fox

Had an excellent visit. Everyone was nice. Everything was explained to me, Dr. Fox seemed much more interested in having me comfortable in his office than he was in pushing treatment. I was a little nervous due to Dr. Fox's one poor review, but I was made completely comfortable. I have to wonder when I see a review like that if the person is well? Highly recommend.

I only went to Dr. Fox because he accepted my new insurance plan. I was completely happy with the dentist. I’ve been seeing for 20+ years and having my teeth cleaned regularly every six months. Dr. Fox insisted I needed perio cleaning and gave me multiple appointments for procedures that insurance was not going to cover. I thought about it and decided I had neither the time nor the money to get invested in this since I have absolutely no symptoms of periodontal disease. I called back and declined the scaling that was prescribed and they refused to give me an appointment for a regular phophy so this was just about charging more money. I would think the patient would have some say in their treatment plan but not at this office. I will return to my regular dentist and pay cash.

First experience. Dr.Fox became upset that i opted for cheaper filling and actually discussed problems with "these crappy insurance plans" with his assistant while working on me . due to excessive force by Dr.Fox, another tooth (completely healthy) was cracked in process. I often wonder if this was intentional so I would return for another procedure...removal or root canal so he could make more money. horrible dentist.....RUN......

Terrible Experience and NEVER going back. Today I took my 16 year old daughter for a filing. I asked if I could go in with her because she was very nervous and his assistant said no. She comes out half an hour later crying and having close to a panic attack. I was dumbfounded because I had never had an issue with Dr. Fox in the 3 years we have gone to him. When I asked what happened, he was very irritated with my daughter and proceeded to tell me that he cannot see her again because she was crying too much and has to be sedated. I asked my daughter and she told me that both him and his assistant barely spoke to her. They just kept stuffing cotton and tools in her mouth and did not explain what was happening or attempt to comfort her. Absolutely no humanity or kindness.
