Dr. Micah Vermeer is a 2009 graduate of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. A native of Sioux Center, Iowa, Micah graduated from Central College in 2005. It was during his time at Central College that Micah became acquainted with Dr. Barnes, Dr. Rasmussen, and the Pella Family Dentistry team. Micah maintained contact with Pella Family Dentistry throughout his 4 years of dental school and decided that Pella and Pella Family Dentistry were the best choice to begin his career in dentistry. Micah specifically enjoys endodontics and pediatric dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Micah is newly married to Liz (Naughton) Vermeer who has taken a position as a physical therapist at the Pella Regional Health Center. Micah and Liz are excited to begin their new lives together as community members of Pella. In his free time, Dr. Micah enjoys golfing, fishing, cooking, and learning to be a husband!
