Dr. Michael Rue earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Oregon in 1975. Following completion of his studies,
Dr. Rue spent 2 years as a Navy dentist, 5 years in Southern Oregon and 5 years in Malawi, Africa with a dental mission team, starting and establishing
a dental clinic there. For the past 23 years, he has been proud to serve the Vancouver community.
Dr. Rue is a member of the American Dental Association and the Seattle Study Club. He has a strong interest in continuing dental education and works
with Clark Community College in the dental assistant and dental hygiene programs. He is also a mentor in the Gordon J. Christensen Practical Clinical
Courses which provides continuing education for dentists.
When he is not at the office, Dr. Rue enjoys hiking, traveling and spending time with his family.
