While in Bethel, he also provided dental care at the Regional Hospital and in remote locations throughout Western Alaska.
Dr. Walther graduated in 1995 from Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, Illinois. As an undergraduate, he attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and a Bachelor of Arts in Italian.
Dr. Walther is committed to improving the world around him and does so through church related activities and other community service. He is a Boy Scout leader and a member of …Wasilla Sunrise Rotary Club. He recently served as the President of the Mat-Su Dental Society. In 2007, he was appointed by Governor Palin to serve a four year term on the Alaska State Board of Dentistry.
In their free time, the Walther family enjoys aviation, photography, downhill and cross country skiing, hiking and kayaking. Dr. Walther is also an avid runner and has completed several marathons including the Crow Pass wilderness run.
Dr. Walther has a true passion for dentistry. Each year, he prioritizes continuing dental education, and devotes many additional hours to learning about advances in dental technology and dental care.
