Summary
Dr. Chionis grew up in Palos Heights, Illinois and attended Chicago Christian High School. After high school, he went to Loyola University, where he received his Bachelors degree in Biology. Dr. Chionis attended Northwestern University Dental School, graduating in 1987.
Dr. Chionis is celebrating his 22nd year of practicing family dentistry in Hickory Hills, Illinois. He is a member of the American Dental Association, and the Chicago Dental Society. He also continues to further his knowledge of dentistry by attending frequent continuing education courses emphasizing cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
Dr. Chionis performs all aspects of dentistry, including preventive, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, crowns and bridges, porcelain veneers, dental implants, non-surgical periodontal (gum) care, and professional teeth whitening.
He employs a registered dental hygienist for professional dental cleaning, and periodontal procedures such as deep cleanings and scalings, and …placement of antibiotics.
In his free time, Dr. Chionis and his wife Melanie enjoy spending time with their daughters, Lexi and Lisa. His hobbies include tennis and computers, which he incorporates into several aspects of his dental practice.  This summer, Dr. Chionis was privileged to be a volunteer dentist at a National Team Smile event at the Chicago Bears Training Camp, in Bourbonnais, Illinois (see photos below.)
