He attended Snow College for 1 year while playing baseball and was selected to the All-conference team. After serving a 2 year mission to Japan he attended Weber State University in the pre-dental program. He continued his education at the University of Louisville Dental School where he graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into OKU and several other distinguished dental fraternities. Dr. Broadbent continued his post-graduate education at the State University of New York at Buffalo’s Orthodontic program and graduated with a Masters of Science in Orthodontics.
Dr. Broadbent is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Rocky Mountain Association of Orthodontists, Utah Association of Orthodontists, the Weber District Dental Society, and is a diplomate of the American …Board of Orthodontics and also volunteers as a board member for the Weber School District Foundation.
Dr. Broadbent and his wife Amy have five daughters, Haley, Abigail, Emily, Jessica, and Olivia. He hopes to have his daughters marry young men who smile with confidence and a healthy smile! In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, golf, basketball, boating, and traveling.
