Dr. Richard Alan Ekstein

My family and I had our teeth cleaned on our first visit. The front desk staff was very nice. Liz, my hygienist, was great! Very attentive! I had to come back to have work done and wanted to use my secondary insurance to cover the additional charges. I was told by the office staff that both insurance plans were accepted. AFTER the work was completed, I was informed that only one plan would be able to cover my charges. Long story short, I now have an almost $800 bill because the staff misspoke. I tried to work with the staff however I was told there was nothing they could do despite providing incorrect information. The office is great however be sure to get a quote IN WRITING before receiving any major dental work. They may not honor their word.

Charged me for a visit that was covered by insurance. Refused to reimburse me once I caught their lie.

I have been to several dentists over the last 40 years. The first time I went to Dr. Eckstein, I knew I'd found the right one. His office staff is very cordial, accommodating and capable. The doctor is friendly and considerate of my comfort, and I feel very little pain during treatment. From start to finish, I feel like I'm in great hands. Thank you, Dr. Eckstein!

The office staff and Dr. are all about money. If you whisper that you may not be able to afford to come back for their proposed very expensive treatments, they roll their eyes behind you. I actually saw this. I had a cleaning that was aweful. I had two insurances that covered and they took both payments. The girl did nothing though.

He only cares about money. My insurance wants me to pay first and then compensate me. He refused to see my daughter because I was short of money. I paid majority of the money and I offered to bring the rest of money from home or bring it next day, but he refused. He canceled everything because of money. I will not recommend his service to anyone.
