Dr. Richard L Reicherter, DDS

Dr. Reicherter was my trusted dentist for over a decade. I went almost 20 years without having a cavity and in the course of a year and a half ended up with three crowns. He explained that my previous fillings had gone bad which was why I needed such considerable and pricy dental work. I believed him because he had my trust. During a recent exam, I told him that I felt a chip in a molar and thought I needed it filled. He told me there was nothing he could do about it – that we’d wait to see if it progressed and then he’d give me a crown. This was a shock to hear and I went to get a second opinion. I saw a different dentist who told me that it wasn’t a tooth chip – only that I had lost some sealant from years ago and he was able to fix it within 30 minutes and without Novocain. This made me realize that I probably didn’t need all that extensive dental work in the first place. Avoid this dentist at all costs. He is unethical and cannot be trusted.

Over the past two years the good doctor has patiently and strategically treated and saved at leased five of my aged molars and premolars. Very competent. Very professional. Very personable.
