Dr. Sanderford began his practice in Fort Myers, Florida 18 years ago. His newest location, on six mile cypress, has brought their patients many comfortable features. He and his entire staff are dedicated to maintaining excellence in dentistry with special emphasis on the family. We are a full service practice designed to give patients a high quality, safe and comfortable environment. We are also handicap accessible. We offer a wide variety of dental services, including teeth whitening, restorative dentistry (fillings, crowns etc.) endodontics (root canals) prosthodontics (bridges, partial and full dentures) and soft tissue management (treatment and prevention of gum disease).
"About the Dr."
Dr. Richard D. Sanderford was born in Raleigh, N.C. his family moved to Florida in 1968.  Dr. Sanderford graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in December of 1980 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1985 …also at the University but at Memphis. He moved his wife and family to Florida in Sept. 1985, where he has been practicing family dentistry and where his commitment to excellence is standard. He is an active member of the American Dental Association and maintains his licensure by attending continuing education programs as mandated by the dental board. When he is not practicing dentistry he enjoys competing in water skiing and playing a variety of musical instruments, especially bass guitar.
Our goal is to meet your needs. Our waiting room is equipped with a T. V. and a children's corner to occupy your wait time. We follow all sterilization and infection protocol. Our clinical staff has been trained to meet all Osha standards in this area.
