Dr. Wolfert is proud of the community practice he has built in Weymouth since 1991. During this time Rick has earned a reputation for not only being a clinically
exceptional dentist, but also one whom his patients trust and feel comfortable with.
“I make it my top priority to spend the proper time and give the right attention to developing a custom treatment plan that fits the exact needs of each one of my patients,” says Dr. Wolfert. “That time and effort spent at the beginning, along with not compromising on any part of our treatment, pays off in the final results.”
Rick graduated from Tufts School of Dental Medicine in 1981 after receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont.
During his tour on the Aircraft Carrier Midway
(CV-41), he was deemed the "Toothboss", a nickname
that has followed him since he left active service.
Currently he serves in the Massachusetts Army
National Guard where he was deployed to Iraq in 2004
in support of …Operation Enduring Freedom as a
dentist and the units Triage Officer. He still serves in the guard
with almost 30 years of military service.
In 1988, Rick began his private practice career in Milton. He then worked in Norwell before coming to Weymouth in 1991. He is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and has published in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry.
In his off time, when he’s not serving in the Reserves, Rick enjoys spending time with his daughters,
Bethany Lee, 20, a junior at University of New
Hampshire, and Jessica Marie, 17, a senior at
Hingham High School. He has watched as his daughters
have grown into responsible adults with an excellent
work ethic and strong moral code. He has been the long-time coach of each of their soccer teams, when, of course, he’s not on another project in the ongoing remodeling of his house. He also plays a mean trumpet in a local community band.
