Dr. Ronald Cecil Taylor

Dr. Ronald Taylor received his bachelor’s degree in 1991 from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.  He enrolled in dental school at the University of Maryland in 1992 and in 1995 he did an externship at the University of Dundee Dental School in Dundee, Scotland.  In 1996, he completed his dental training and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Maryland.  Dr. Taylor returned to New York and completed advanced training in a General Practice Residency (GPR) program at The Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in 1997.  In 1999, he completed his endodontic specialty training and successfully defended his thesis, receiving his certification in endodontics and his Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Taylor practices in Bowie and Silver Spring, Maryland. In addition he currently serves as an associate professor at Howard University College of …Dentistry and as an appointed member of the Dean’s Faculty as clinical assistant professor at the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery.  He has been a mock board examiner for endodontic residents in the United States Navy Post Graduate Endodontic Residency Program, the Medical College of Virginia, and the University of Maryland.   He conducts several lectures and seminars on modern endodontics throughout the nation.  He is a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and the National Dental Association.  Dr. Taylor continues his study at the Naval Hospital in Bethesda with the Edward C. Penick Endodontic Study Club, and he is an alumnus of the Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida.

Dr. Taylor is married to his lovely wife Chalissa and has two beautiful children, Kayla and Evan.  He enjoys traveling, deep sea fishing, and music.
