A 1979 graduate of the Johns Hopkins University and 1983 graduate of the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry, Ross Heisman has owned and operated the Arundel Dental Group for the past twenty-seven years. He did an additional year of training as a general practice resident at Baltimore City Hospital from 1983-1984. Dr. Heisman lives in Annapolis with his wife, Patti and their two children. Evan is a recent Juniata College graduate working in the Maryland State Legislature and Rachel is a college student at the University of Rhode Island.
He is an active member and past president of the Anne Arundel County Dental Society. Dr. Heisman and his assistant volunteer regularly at the Anne Arundel County Dental Outreach Clinic at the Stanton Center in Annapolis, serving the needs of the county's poor and uninsured population.
In his spare time Dr. Heisman is an avid skier and distance runner, having completed twenty-six 26.2 mile marathons, two 50 …mile ultramarathons and one triathlon.Â
