Dr. Sam Gilani

Dr. Sam Gilani is truly the best periodontist. His impeccable credentials, years of teaching experience as a faculty member at UCLA Department of Periodontology where he teaches periodontic residents at UCLA. He uses the most advanced technology and is a pioneer in minimally invasive surgery in hisbeautiful and relaxing office in Beverly Hills. I had gum grafting and he placed 4 dental implants. Dr. Gilani took extraordinary efforts to make sure that the procedure is comfortable and that the healing goes smoothly. It was the least invasive procedure. I didn't need any pain medication following surgery. It was truly remarkable. I highly recommend him if you have any issues with your gums or if you need dental implants.

Hands down Sam Gilani is the best doctor I have been too! I can truly say that Dr Gilani has given me something that I thought impossible to obtain--a beautiful, healthy smile. Over a three year period Dr Gilani and his team provided me implants, crowns, bridges, and even Bone J! Having had extremely bad dental experiences in the past I came to his office very apprehensive and fearful. He displayed the highest professional skills and sensitivity to my anxiety and that quickly built my trust in him as a competent and caring professional. Total scum bag. D. Gilani should retire. He's dishonest and should just do anything that has nothing to do with dentistry.

Dr. Gilani is an amazing implant surgeon. The procedure was impeccably preformed. I experienced no pain whatsoever. Dr Gilani placed 4 dental implants for me. I was referred to him by my mom who had several implants placed by Dr. Gilani 20 years ago. I would not go to anyone else. Make sure the person performing this procedure is experienced. It really makes a difference.

I had the Pillar Procedure done by Dr. Sam Gilani and it worked wonderfully -- I no longer have sleep apnea at all. I really wanted to stop using the CPAP because it was such a pain. I got a new sleep test about six months after the procedure, and my sleep apnea was gone! The reason I waited six months was so that scar tissue can form around the pillars, which is what makes the whole thing work in the soft palate. Ingenious. The procedure was quite painless and quick. My throat was sore for a couple of days afterward but that was no big deal. Dr. Sam Gilani and his staff are fabulous. They really were caring, and they even checked in with me a couple of times afterward just to make sure I was doing fine. I can't recommend Dr. Sam Gilani enough; he's so knowledgeable and also really nice. The Pillar Procedure works in 85% of cases -- which means it doesn't work in 15%. Those numbers are based on some very good studies. I figured it was totally worth trying. And yippee, I… ended up in the 85%.

Dr. Sam Gilani is made the impossible possible for me. My dentist had placed implants for me without removing the infection that had caused the underlying tooth loss. My implants failed and I suffered tremendous pain and discomfort. I was told that I did not have sufficient bone to support the dental implants. I was referred to Dr. Sam Gilani by a longtime patient of his. Dr. Sam Gilani was able to take care of the infection that was causing my boneloss. He implant bone materia in my jawl to replace the bone I had lost and successfully placed 7 implants. Dr. Sam Gilani's literally gave me my life back. Dr. Sam Gilani has the skills and the experience that you need. Don't trust jut anybody. It takes years of training and precision to do it right. millimeters can make a difference. I would not go to anyone else. I Highly recommend Dr. Sam Gilani.

Dr. Gilani is not only comapssionate but he is also a great surgeon. I had two implants placed by him and the entire procedure was pain free and I went to work the next day with no swelling or discomfort! I am so happy with my implants and I recommend him to everyone I know.

Dr. Gilani pulled several of my teeth and there was absolutely no pain or discomfort during or after the surgery.Many general dentists tend to yank out a tooth but Dr. Gilani very gently removed the teeth and I never had any swelling and no one even knew I had the procedure done!

If you could combine the high ethics, concern for patients, impeccable manners and the latest technology, and highly specialized technique of microsurgery that only seem to work in his hands, you would have Dr. Gilani. I have had many dental procedures to date. I can tell you that you do not feel anything even remotely close to pain while in his chair during or after the procedure. You will not need so much as an aspirin. Dr. Gilani placed implants for me when other doctors found my case to be too challenging. I have been under his care for many years and I would not go anywhere else.
