Dr. Manish Ashvin Pandya, MD

My dad had to be hospitalized for a stroke. He had significant debilities afterwards, mainly physical. Despite these conditions the insurance company denied his stay on the rehab floor. Dr Pandya was instrumental in coordinating his care with the rehab team who then notified me that I could file an appeal to get dad into the rehab floor. Dr Pandya's care and experience with these types of situations was critical to my dad getting the care he needed. Thanks for everything

Amazing care by a very knowledgeable physician. Felt respected and well cared for during my entire stay. When I was in pain I was able to call the nurses and they were able to get in touch with Dr Pandya right away for medications. He coordinated care in a very efficient manner. All my questions were well answered. My overall experience in the hospital was made very positive thanks to this doctor

Best physician in the hospital bar none. Took time to explain my condition to me. eased my concerns being in the hospital. Was kind, compassionate, and very knowledgeable about all the conditions he was treating. was able to coordinate care with the other specialists as well.

Was admitted for stroke like symptoms. Wasn’t sure what was going on as the er was haphazard and no one seemed to k ow what was going on. Dr Pandya was able to ease the confusion and provided excellent care while answering all of our questions regarding my diagnosis and the subsequent care that I would be getting. He spent time coordinating my care with the other specialists that were following my case: he even got in touch with my primary care doctor to let him know how I was doing. If all docs were as compassionate as Dr Pandya our healthcare system would be in a better place. Overall had a good experience at Corewell other than the confusion in the er.

Excellent bedside manner. I felt well cared for throughout my stay with Dr Pandya. He spent time explaining my diagnoses and what to expect throughout the course of the admission. Very comforting experience

I saw this doctor while in the hospital. He never physically examine me. He would stand at the door and talk to me for less than 5 minutes everyday. But his notes on mychart went into long explanations about his examines. One note even stated he had talked to patient/family for 43 minutes. This never happen, most visits were under 3 minutes. He's getting paid for his writing not for his medical expertise. In reading my records after my hospital stay it states that I had possible indications of stroke and MRI was recommended, this never happen while I was in the hospital under his care. . I would never recommend him.
