Dr John Darren Beelitz, MD

Following up on Mr. Richard Bloom’s offensive and misleading review of Dr. Beelitz from 6 months ago that I Just Read…as a patient of Dr. B for over 5 years, I feel compelled to speak up because what was written does not reflect the doctor I have personally known and trusted. Dr. Beelitz has helped me through years of severe pain resulting from a terrible car accident, and throughout every procedure and every injection, he has ALWAYS been professional, attentive, and cautious with patient safety. After every injection, he personally checks to make sure you are feeling okay and ALWAYS instructs patients to wait at least 15 minutes before driving. That has been consistently communicated every single time. If someone chooses to ignore medical instructions and drive anyway, that is their own decision and responsibility — not the fault of the doctor. Making false accusations and publicly attacking a physician because of your own choices is unfair and damaging. In addition, I personally… spoke with Publix Pharmacy and was informed that they have been reducing the number of opioid prescriptions they are willing to fill from MANY doctors, not just Dr. Beelitz. So before attempting to damage a doctor’s reputation, it would be wise to get the facts straight first. Good doctors who genuinely care about their patients should not be attacked with misinformation and exaggerated claims. Dr. Beelitz has helped countless people, myself included, and I will continue to stand behind him.

I am very disgusted in my experience today they called me to personally ask me to come in since it's been a year since they have seen me so I went and made the visit took off of work lost today's pay to take the time to be seen for ankylosing spinalitis which causes me severe pain it's not just regular pain management it's serious I had a very low outstanding balance from a year ago I can't believe this man call me to have me come in run my card for that balance charge me hundreds of dollars for today's visit because unfortunately I don't have health insurance then not even see me and treat me and ask me to leave he could have sent me a bill but this man straight up called me to rob me that is disgusting how can a doctor do that doctors are supposed to care I wasn't even planning on going to him but I was just going to go because they call me and ask me to come be seen cuz it's been over a year and they're like to you know keep in contact with their patients yeah so they can steal from… you

Dr. Beelitz is a wonderful Dr. He is very knowledgeable and pinpointed my condition and then explained it very well to me. I've been his patient about 5 months. He always has his I-pad with him when he comes into the room and I feel confident that he remembers me each month by the questions he asks. His staff is amazing.

Great staff love his new office and Dr Beelitz has been great regarding my issues for over 3 years now. Keep up the great work Dr Beelitz!

Dr Beelitz is a wonderful caring Dr. who is attentive, compassionate and thorough. Can’t recommend him enough.

I came to vitals.com to find Dr. Beelitz. I am a former patient of his from another practice. I was surprised to see some of the reviews here. I was a patient for several years and never had any issues with Dr. Beelitz. He can be a little quirky sometimes. But who isn't? He always made me feel like my health and issues were a priority. There were appointments that were super quick. There were some where I had to wait a little while. But never anything excessive. And even if I did wait, I never felt like he was trying to rush me out the door when he got to me because he was behind. He always had time to listen and discuss things. Dr. Beelitz was also my husband's anesthesiologist once for an outpatient procedure. My husband had no idea who he was but said he was friendly and make him feel comfortable. Bottom line, I miss Dr. Beelitz and hope that his new practice is accepting old patients. Having a doctor that will take time and listen to what you are saying vs hearing what they want… is priceless these days.

Dr Beelitz is an amazing doctor. He makes sure to let know your options not everyone is the same and he knows that, I'm satisfied with the treatment and staff is amazing the ladies that have been there a while know you and treat you with kindness, nurse is really nice Shirley is great.

I've been seeing him for a while and I can say that he is a very caring person and works with you to make sure that you are doing well. The staff is Gest zThe nurse Shirley is very nice and the rest of the staff too. Girls on the front are great ????

I expected more from my initial exam with him. Mediocre physical exam and confusing comments regarding my condition. Came out with more questions than I went in with. I guess it didn’t help that I was Not looking for pin meds.

No respect for his patient's time, his staff admits he is always an hour behind. Spent 12 minutes with me without listening to my concerns about his presciption/drug choices for my condition. Billed my insurance $549 while by back surgeon only billed my insurance $300 for spinal injections. can not recommend under any circumstance.
