Olga M. Nikelshpur, PhD

Dr. Olga M. Nikelshpur is a neuropsychologist at the Hackensack Meridian Neuroscience Institute at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Dr. Nikelshpur has special training and skill in evaluating and treating patients with nervous system disorders, including headaches, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders, epilepsy, as well as memory and cognitive disorders. 

Committed to providing inclusive care to patients with diverse backgrounds, Dr. Nikelshpur strives to provide clients with various racial, cultural, sexual, and gender identities with care sensitive to their individual differences. She endeavors to provide all patients with a safe space that maximizes the patient’s ability to do their best. In her approach to neuropsychological evaluation with culturally diverse populations, she carefully considers measures she selects and uses appropriate sets of normative data to ensure fair, accurate, and unbiased assessment of each patient’s cognitive skills. Wherever appropriate and possible, she uses language interpreters to ensure that an individual receives information and has an opportunity to respond in the language with which they are most comfortable.
