Dr. Chan is amazing. She is very patient and always takes her time to answer any questions. She is so thorough and thoughtful with her care.

I feel so fortunate to have the professional relationship with Barrow and Doctor Chan , as well as her medical assistant, Consuelo. I believe Doctor Chan is the brightest doctor I have ever met. I appreciate her intelligence, ability to communicate and thorough evaluation of my condition.

Dr. Chan is one of the most professional, knowledgeable, caring Physicians with whom I have ever had the pleasure of working professionally or as a patient. She never appears to be in a hurry, is always prepared for everything and explains things very well, including to my wife, who is my care-partner. She always talks to my wife. at her level and makessure to include her in the conversation. I hope Dr. Chan never goes anywhere because I would hate to lose her as a physician.

Dr. Chan is always well prepared for my visit and eager to provide advice. We started by her listening to what I have endured since our last appointment. She is taking notes as we go. She answered questions without hesitation. I feel very lucky to have been assigned to her guidance.

Dr Chan is fantastic. She takes time to familiarize herself with my chart before coming in and immediately asks questions about any changes since my last visit. She takes time to review all of my symptoms and does a thorough assessment of my condition. She really listens and takes time to answer my questions and go over treatment options.

Dr. Chan is excellent at communicating different options for treatments and letting you know the pros and cons of your options. You immediately feel at ease when she enters the room to examine you and that continues throughout her examination. At no point do you ever feel as though you are being ignored nor do you ever feel rushed. For me the most important aspect of any doctor is their listening skills and empathy. No matter how knowledgeable a doctor is their clinical competency depends on their listening skills and empathy. Each patient has different needs and the first step in helping anyone is obviously being able to listen to them. This is what makes Dr. Chan an excellent neurologist.

I love Dr. Chan. She is the warmest, most caring, and enormously knowledgeable physician I have had. Her abilities to listen are extraordinary, especially in current times. She seems never to be in a hurry to leave the room and acts always like she cares about you. l also love the way she talks to my wife and doesn't ignore that she is there, like some physicians do. Dr. Chan is the best and I give her the highest rating possible!!

Dr. Chen is an outstanding physician! Her knowledge exceeds the average neurologist. She is thorough and pays attention to detail as a natural personality trait. Her bedside manner is empathetic, kind, thoughtful, considerate and always warm and engaging. She knows her patients well and relates to each one individually. She also clearly understands that each patient is connected to other human beings that support, affect the outcomes of the patient in her care.!!! She is a joy to be around.!!
