Dr. Kendale Lee Ritchey, MD

Dr. Ritchey operated on both feet. This was when he first started his practice. I had to be physically carried into his office. 22 yrs. later; I have not had a pain. For those of you complaining about waiting; he is worth the wait. I have referred at least 15-20 friends and family; all personally thanked me. He is the best!!!!

Despite being a longtime patient who was being seen regularly (every two weeks) by Dr. Kendale Ritchey for an ulcer on my left great toe, Dr. Ritchey failed to notice that the wound was getting bigger (not healing) and subsequently led to an infection that went to the bone. This led to painful surgery that permanently disfigured (shortened) my toe, hospitalization and six weeks of antibiotics treatment via peripherally inserted central catheter line. It was obviously invasive, incredibly stressful and entirely avoidable if Dr. Ritchey hadn’t absolutely failed in his job as a physician. To this day, I continue to suffer daily with pain and have to regularly visit a competent podiatrist to ensure that problems don’t recur and I can avoid amputation. As an aide, wait times for Dr. Ritchey for several years were routinely between 90 and 120 minutes, but I endured these waits because I trusted him. That was a huge mistake. If you care about your feet, I highly recommend you find someone… else to trust. Finally, Dr. Ritchey violated the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act by sharing information with me about another patient.

I highly recommend Dr Richie he takes what time to explain everything what she's going to do on his patients he make sure that his patients understands everything before he does the procedures I wish more doctors would do the same

I give him a 5+. He saw me for ingrown toenail. Had to be cut out and he took care of it right then. I work in the medical field myself and have learned that waiting for the BEST is worth the wait!

I had a follow-up appointment on an ingrown nail I had removed 1 month prior. I work only 2 minutes from his office. Was there 15 minutes prior to appointment and still was not seen until an hour after my appointment time. On top of that - I had to pay a $50 co-pay to be seen for a whole 5 minutes if that. One should not be charged a co-pay for a follow-up appointment for them to only look and say everything is good.

Dr. Ritchey is a highly recommended podiatrist. Maybe this is why he has so many patients! I have seen him 2 times and both times waited at least 1 1/2 hours before being taken back. Total time spent there was 2-3 hours for office visit. He is attentive and I believe genuinely cares about his patients but is WAY OVER BOOKED. At one point, there were 10 people in the waiting room all having appt.s with Dr. Ritchey. Two of these people left saying they could not stay any longer and a third left saying "he had been there 2 hours already and had to pick up his kids." Bring a book and a lunch ...maybe a pillow too!

Dr. Ritchey and his staff are the best when your feet hurt. I have been a patient for years and will be having surgery in the near future. I trust him completely. I would recommend Dr. Ritchey to anyone looking for a team to take care of your foot problems.
