Dr. Jeffrey Howard Lumerman, MD

I have always been impressed with the urological care that I have received from Dr Lumerman at Optum. He is a caring physician who listens and gives ample time to all of my concerns. He then uses appropriate diagnostic tools to address and successfully treat all of my issues. I am very grateful to have him as one of my specialists.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lumerman for over three years. Dr. Lumerman always takes the time to understand your global health picture as well as your personal situation. He is knowledgeable, professional and thorough. Appointments are always timely. The office professionals are equally pleasant and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Lumerman.

Dr. Lumerman is excellent! Takes the time to listen to you, is very thorough, explains everything to you and is excellent in his diagnosis. I really appreciate the time Dr Lumerman takes to explain what is happening to me (rising PSA and early stage Prostate Cancer), what my options are, referred me to the best of the best to treat my prostate cancer and always makes time to speak with me via Zoom or phone if I have any questions. I cannot recommend Dr Lumerman enough, he is excellent!

Feeling very comfortable in his care. Dr. Lumerman is extremely knowledgeable in the field of neurology. He is able to address all of my concerns in a calm and understandable way. He is an exceptional individual.

I went for a second opinion and he was quite honest with me. He reviewed all my tests and confirmed what my doctor had told me. I liked the way he spent time with me so I am having him do my surgery

The staff gets 5 stars, very professional, courteous and accommodating with their scheduling. Dr. Lumberman get three stars because as a first time patient, he cuts you off as you try and bring him up to speed on your urologic issues. During the evaluation he continues to cut you off as you ask your concerns. Dr. Lumberman answers your concerns though but never allows you to complete a sentence as though he is rushing and does not want to be bothered with needless details or questions. My initial office evaluation directly with the doctor lasted about 15 minutes during which he did a through urologic exam and he promptly put in my refills. He examined me for some groin hernias with the right being the most respect problematic issue. But after his pressing on both hernias, I find myself a day later with the left groin hernia more problematic and protruding more enough though it was pain free for over a year. Was unhappy about his aggressive examination if the hernias but will now… rush to see a surgeon. Overall Dr. Lumerman is a solid 3.5 stars and his staff is above 5 stars. Overall I feel I will return to the doctor as my old fantastic urologist is retiring.

I took my father to see Dr. Lumerman And he was very patient with him despite the fact that he has dementia. He spoke to me as well and gave me a realistic expectation of a plan to help control the urinary issues we have been experiencing He is a true gentleman
