Took my daughter in when she was 18. My daughter already had several psych evals done & 5 other Dr's with way more experience with all diagnosed my daughter to be in the Autism Spectrum. Her whole eval came back making excuses why my daughter doesn't have ASD! The eval was also written out of some sort of hostility or of some sort of frustration as it was clear shehad no understanding in autism. This was in 2015 & I believe she was fresh out of college (so it seemed). Anyone who has a daughter or knows a female with high functioning autism knows they present extremely differently than boys. This Dr had no knowledge of that and claimed my daughter couldn't possibly have autism "because she made eye contact" when she was speaking to her. She further explained after the evaluation that she didn't know enough about autism to diagnose it! But she never ever explained this before the evaluation. Anyone looking for an eval or someone with autism stay clear!
