Dr. Stephanie Hoatson graduated from the University of Central Florida with high honors in Molecular and Microbiology. She then earned her medical degree from Loma Linda University where she graduated in the top 10% of her class and was inducted into the prestigious AOA Honor Medical Society.
She did her internship and Ophthalmology residency at Loma Linda University where the focus was on diagnosing and treating diverse pathology, developing strong surgical skills, and helping to heal people via a whole-patient approach.
Post-residency, Stephanie returned to her hometown of Orlando, Florida, and joined the Florida Eye Clinic where she practiced as a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist for 3 years before joining Southwest Eyecare.
Dr. Hoatson is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is also a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery
