Dr. Maria Altieri, MD

If i can put no stars i would, i usually schedule all my appointments at Temple university hospital since i have been a patient there for many years, but because i have been feeling they haven’t been giving me the care i need i asked my doctor to refer me to another gastro doctor i can feel comfortable with for an abdominal hernia,they choose Maria Altieri as she was the first available, i live all the way up northeast so it took me quite sometime to get there with traffic on the highway and looking for parking was terrible had to circle the block like 4 times, when finally found parking paid two hours on the meter and walked to the location, i get there and it took me sometime to get upstairs to the 20th floor, when im finally on the front desk a few mins late ofcourse receptionist called the back to make sure they can still see me since i was like 10 mins late,they said it was ok,when i get there,there’s nobody in the waiting room just me. They called me to the back to take my… weight and ask a few questions before seeing the doctor,while doing that someone knocks on the door and told me the doctor said for me to reschedule because i was a few minutes late and the doctor didn’t want to see me, i replied but why? Theres nobody in here but me. And it was only 10:30am. I Never seen her,never got to meet her, i think it was so unfair and so rude of her to not see me,i feel like she could’ve been a little more understanding and nicer, i would understand if the waiting area was packed with people but there was noone there at all.i already feel uncomfortable going back, I won’t be going there again.
