I felt like therapy was to the point, effective, and efficient.she can be blunt at times but I found it helpful My only complaint is that she tends to run 5 minutes behind schedule, which is usually fine but sometimes annoying

I find these reviews to extremely suspicious. She has been a practicing psychologist for 10 years and all of a sudden there are abhorrent reviews. I know for a fact she spends at least 3 sessions doing couple intake and thoroughly explains the Gottman approach ("whatever that is")--- these reviews are so bogus.

Dr. Hayes consistently rescheduled and cancelled appointments last minute. Very disrespectful of my time.

If you want to feel judged and ridiculed as a parent, Dr. Hayes is a great resource. We met with her multiple times to fix our daughter's anxiety and depression and were only met with contempt and judgement. I would recommend avoiding her.

I went to Dr. Hayes for a few sessions of couples therapy with my partner, and it was a disaster. She advertised herself as a Gottmans couples therapist -- I'm not sure what that is, but she was clearly invested in taking one side of the relationship (which most couples therapists highly discourage). She also seemed to have a very demanding and perfectionistic view of relationships that was delusional and unrealistic.

I am a colleague of Dr. Hayes and have always known her to be an exceptional and authentic clinician. She consistently offers compassionate, thoughtful, and well-informed insight in her work. Dr. Hayes approaches both colleagues and patients with a grounded, approachable demeanor and a genuine sense of empathy. I greatly value the opportunity to exchange perspectives with her and engage in meaningful professional consultation. Catriona is deeply committed to seeking outside feedback to ensure she provides the most ethical and effective care for her patients. She has also been an invaluable and resourceful colleague when I have sought objective opinions and thoughtful feedback regarding my own cases.

Dr. Caitriona Hayes completely shifted my life direction. My anxiety was so paralyzing I was unable to leave my house or even certain rooms within my own home. I have more room to grow, but I'm getting my life back and feel more engaged with my children and present in their lives.

I had Dr. Hayes as a therapist when she worked at the Center for Anxiety and Behavioral Change. She was absolutely dreadful, and some of her "brilliant" ideas that were targeted to solve my depressive episode were so horrifically misplaced that my current therapist sent her an email after I quit seeing Dr. Hayes to tell her to stop advising her clients to commit unethical acts.

Dr. Hayes was so helpful with helping our child transition during a major family change. She provided guidance to my husband and I about helping our child transition to college.

I had a wonderful experience working with Dr. Hayes. She is open, compassionate, and direct when it came to reflecting on challenges I faced to help me overcome.
