Dr. Cronin has been my podiatrist at the VAMC for 12 years now, ever since she came to this VA Hospital. She has dedicated herself to the care of us vets(Dr. Cronin is a vet herself, having retired from the Air Force as a Full(Bird) Colonel in 2015. Dr. Cronin has a wonderful bedside manner, and is very gentle with her patients .Since the time Dr. Cronin came to this VAMC there have been far fewer amputations of toes. feet, and legs. Dr. Cronin has personally saved both my legs at different times(10 years ago and 3 years ago during cancer treatment). Dr. Cronin has been voted "Best Physician" several times at the VAMC, here in Martinsburg, WV. I cannot praise her enough. Example: If Dr. Cronin left the VA and went into private practice, I would follow her to stay under her care. I would say that all the podiatrists at this VAMC are excellent, but Dr. Cronin is best and that's why she is Head of Podiatry.
