Dr Waterford is a compassionate surgeon who listens very well and takes his time with people. He tries to repair valves instead of replacing them as well. He also has a good sense of humor and puts people at ease!

Best doctor ever. Best surgeon ever. Best person ever. I couldn't figure out why he didn't have the best review... until I realised that his ex girl friends somehow took out their anger.. because when you are in your residency and fellowship, you don't get reviewed...

Dr. Waterford repaired two of my heart valves. The surgery was successful and my recovery was much faster than expected. Both before and after the surgery, Dr. Waterford spent considerable time with us explaining everything about my condition and the surgery and what I should expect after the surgery. Dr. Waterford came to see me just before the operation and re-assured me that everything would be fine, which it was. We got to know Dr. Waterford a little bit after the operation and he is not only a brilliant, super competent surgeon, but also a a very nice and interesting person. I highly recommend Dr. Waterford for any cardiac issues that require surgery.

Dr Waterford saved my husband's life. He had been diagnosed with a critical heart attack. He calmed us down and took my husband thru surgery. He has the best bedside manner and is someone I would trust my life to.
