Dr. Joseph Hanovnikian or ‘Dr. Joe’ studied allopathic medicine at the University of Illinois and later completed training in internal medicine at the Los Angeles County Hospital residency program with the University of Southern California.

The approach I take is profoundly holistic and through a refined lens of vitalism and Ayurveda. My intake and care plans are comprehensive and address the fundamental roots of dis-ease.

I have experience in the fields of nephrology, oncology, neurology, rheumatology, dermatology, pulmonology, hepatology, cardiology, and gastroenterology. My clinical interests include auto-immune conditions, gut health, mind-body medicine, the gut-brain axis, hormonal balance, hypothyroidism, and polycystic ovarian syndrome.
