Dr. Vikram Mayuran Sampath, MD

He's a ghost. I saw him approximately September 2024 for a painful herniated disk and he said my only option was surgery. His scheduler called me just after the IV solution shortage hit and said I would be called as soon as. I monitored the shortage through December and hadn't heard from Core Institute so called in early January 2025 for an update. He was no where to be found so I had to start the whole process over. I am hopeful my new surgeon will have me taken care of in March. Mayuran had caused me excruciating pain for months when it would have been simple to have someone call me. He disgusts me.

He was great to me because he didn’t push surgery . I liked his chair side maner I look forward to talking to him again!

I would give him no stars if I could he is a terrible doctor if you are young like me. I have had pain for over 9 years and I found a doctor that found out what was causing my pain and he sent me to him to get surgery . Vikram judged me based off my age and because my symptoms were different than what any other person with the same problem as mine he refused to help me . He doesnt belive I have these problems just because I'm 23 years old . I have been to over 10 different doctor in over 9 years and I finally found a doctor who was able to tell me what was wrong and Vikram refused to help me at all he wanted me to do these injections again even tho I have already done them and I even had to get an injection that they do to prove surgery would help solve these issues and he didn't care. He scrolled through all my test and trays and mri results in 10 seconds and said "there is no surgery that I can do to help you "when I literally did an injection test to prove this was… the next step just because of how young I am he used to help me so what I am supposed to be in pain for my whole life because of people my age doesn't typically have these problems . I am supposed to go the rest of my life not being able to work just because of doctors like this one won't believe me. I would have given 0 stars if I could.

Dr Sampath diagnosed a condition I did not know about from other speciality providers I have seen. He has a calm and professional demeanor, and I am confident in his ability to bring me back to life again!

Dr. Sampath listened to what I had to say and answered my questions clearly. He was not rushed which I appreciated.

Polite? Yes. Listening? Not sure. After explaining my symptoms from the original discomfort in my neck and after reviewing my X-rays, the doctors conclusion was, "you have arthritis in your neck, and have it for some time". I already knew that of course. Not only is there limited movement in the neck but the other symptoms are leg pain, groin discomfort as well as arm tingling and fingers. Laying down can be uncomfortable and consequently not sleeping well. The referral was made for physical therapy (which is something I'm already doing). Was that it? I asked myself, 'why did it take over an hour to arrive from where I live to hear this prognosis'? Will this be my way of life now? What can I expect for the future? My next step is pain management.
