Dr. Sloane Yu, MD

Allied Pain & Spine is great! I came in with bad hip pain last year and Dr. Yu actually took my pain seriously, which is a huge relief as a chronic pain patient. He figured out that it was a hernia pretty quickly, and after surgery I've had complete pain relief and can do normal activities again. I would also recommend AP & S if you have migraines - I recently got botox there for my tension migraines and taken me from 1-2 migraines a week to 1/month. Dr. Yu really cares and that is what separates him from every other pain doctor I have ever meet. With my last HMO plan before I got onto Medicare, I felt like I was a cattle and being pushed around. No one took my problems seriously or offered any help besides more Advil. Dr. Yu from the first time I meet him listen to everything, did a careful exam, and I truly believe he wanted to help me. He did this procedure no one has ever tried and so far I am 90% better. I don't know how long it will last but it is the best I have felt in 10 years with seeing so many waste of time doctors. Anyone with chronic pain knows how hard it can be to just find one good doctor and I have no doubt he is the guy I have been looking for for years.

I have been to several pain management doctors over the years and Dr. Yu has been the best one by far.  I have multiple pain issues and have always had problems getting a doctor to address them all.  Dr Yu has been very patient with me while I explained my pain issues with my lower back, neck, shoulder, migraines, and fibromyalgia. We worked through a pain management plan together and started with what was causing me the most issues at work.  I worked with a physical therapist and chiropractor as part of my treatment.  Dr Yu worked with me with several different medications, setup MRIs for my neck and shoulder, applied local injections for pain, performed an RFA for my neck pain and has started Botox shots for my migraines. I would highly recommend Dr. Yu to anyone that wants the best in pain management care

I Don't know the right words to describe how awsome Dr. Yu Sloane & staff are at Trinity Surgery [ Olga, Debbie, Ember, Amy, Haley, Janai, & surgical staff ] I suffer from chronic back pain. Arthritis, deteriorating disc bone on bone. I have had 2 different procedures [ Spinal stimulator & a new one, titanium spacer placed in lumbar area ] & both have given me my life back. I have always been active but activity was decreasing because of pain. Dr. Yu & staff should be rated 10 stars. I would definitely highly recommend Dr. Yu & staff to anyone. Michael Albanese

I am a new patient of Dr. Yu and am so grateful I found him! After suffering with spine and nerve pain for some time he was able to make a correct diagnosis. He took time to go over my MRi's, ask questions, and I could tell he really cared about the pain I felt. If you want a doctor who truly listens he is the one for you. Due to his thoroughness he was able to give me a proper diagnosis. He was able to give me some injections to reset my nerves which worked instantly. After having pain for so long I cried with happy tears. Feeling blessed to have found Dr. Yu!

Guy is a total hack! Beware!

I can't say how impressed I am with Dr. Yu and his amazing abilities. He offered me a wireless stimulator for my right knee tha has completely got rid of the pain. It is a miracle. I have recommended him to all of my friends and feel very lucky that he is my doctor

Dr. Yu was a very good listener and creative thinker. We worked together to get me off all my pain medication and now I am in the least amount of pain in 20 years

I have great respect for Dr. Yu. He has always taken good care of me. He is really personable and cares. His treatment for my pain issues over the last 2 years are spot-on. I will always be his patient and he has my complete trust. I have been through a lot in life and feel lucky I have a doctor to treat my pain.

Dr. Yu was wonderful. He was prepared when he entered the exam room. He allowed me to raise questions and to be part of the solution, moving forward. Had two injections and now feel better than I have in years
