If you're seeking a doctor who will let your body guide on what to do? Dr. Burke may not be for you. If you want a natural vaginal birth without intervention that isn't medically necessary? Dr. Burke, may not be for you. It's important to research and understand if you want a midwife or an OBGYN, because they often are on a different time table and have different objectives. Dr. Burke is pro induction with Crytotec, even though I wanted to use Cervadi (it can take 12 hours instead of 2)l. I wasn't interested in a super fast delivery, I wanted a healthy delivery with minimal intervention. So I was probably in the wrong place, and she wasn't to thrilled about it. If you've watched the Business of Being born you know what I mean. Do your research on interventions please! Turns out the Cervadil worked just fine.

Dr. Burke is always so thorough and attentive during our appointments. Even when I don't have questions, she prompts good discussions about topics I should be thinking about. I really appreciate her bedside manner and making me feel heard without feeling pressured to make decisions one way or another
