Dr. Butto acquired her medical degree from Des Moines University. She then went on to complete a 3 year foot and ankle surgery residency at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. After completing residency, she went on to complete a reconstructive rearfoot and ankle fellowship with Dr Lawrence DiDomenico- a well known leader in the profession. Her fellowship training focused on complex reconstruction and limb salvage. After her training she was an attending physician at Trinity Health of New England, where she trained residents and treated patients. She is actively involved in research and lectures nationwide on behalf of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.Dr. Butto specializes in the treatment of the pathology in the Foot and Ankle including: Trauma, Pediatrics, Congenital Deformities, Diabetic Limb Salvage and Sports Injuries.
