Peter Aziz, MD

Dr. Peter Aziz is a urogynecologist who joined the Intermountain Health team because he shares their vision of providing high-quality, evidence-based medicine to the community in a culturally competent environment. Dr. Aziz attended medical school at Ain Shams University School of Medicine. He then completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai Hospital, followed by a fellowship in Urogynecology and Female Pelvic Surgery at Louisiana State University. He is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Aziz also earned a Master’s in Public Health from the University of New England.With an extensive background working with underserved populations, Dr. Aziz is dedicated to helping develop a non-biased healthcare system that provides quality care. He is experienced in complex pelvic reconstruction surgeries, minimally invasive, and robotic surgeries. He has a special focus in treating pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, …fistulas, and obstetrical injuries. He is also accomplished on the academic level as he reviews manuscripts and articles for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Journals.Dr. Aziz enjoys listening to music and playing guitar. He also has a passion for traveling. When not seeing patients, he spends his time-off traveling the world and exploring different sports and activities.
