I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Shayya. After 10 months of struggling to feel heard and understood, he is the first doctor who truly listened to my symptoms with care and attention. In April 2025 I suffered a complicated mild TBI, and I have seen two neurologists, an ophthalmologist, an optometrist and a Neuro-ophthalmologist, Dr. Shayya is the first doctor who made me feel validated, not dismissed and that alone meant so much. Dr. Shayya took the time to understand the full picture of what I’ve been experiencing, and for the first time, I feel like there is a clear, thoughtful plan in place for my treatment. His approach is both compassionate and thorough, and he made me feel confident that I am finally on the right path. If you’re looking for a neurologist who genuinely listens, understands, and takes action, I highly recommend Dr. Shayya. I also want to give a shot-out to Dr. Shayya’s assistant “B”. She is sweet, kind, patient and funny. I genuinely felt care and… compassion radiate for her.
