Shanmuga Pujitha “Puji” Jonnalagadda, M.D., is a board-certified developmental behavioral pediatrician in the Pediatric Developmental Disability Division at Scottish Rite for Children. Dr. Puji received her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency training at McGovern Medical School, The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, TX. After residency, she completed a fellowship in developmental and behavioral pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Colorado. Dr. Puji enjoys working with children with developmental differences, behavioral needs and families of children with complex medical needs. She also has a special interest in autism and neurodiversity.

Scottish Rite for Children is a world-renowned leader in the treatment of pediatric orthopedic conditions, sports injuries and fractures, as …well as certain related arthritic and neurological disorders and learning disorders, such as dyslexia.

Scottish Rite for Children was established in 1921 when a group of Texas Masons approached Dallas’ first orthopedic surgeon W.B. Carrell, M.D., about providing care to children with polio. With the introduction of the Salk and Sabin vaccines in the mid-1950s, which virtually eradicated polio in the Western Hemisphere, Scottish Rite broadened its focus to other orthopedic conditions.
