When I was told I could not see my orthopedic surgeon due to the fact that my insurance changed after the 1st of the year, I had to find a new surgeon rather quickly and that's a daunting experience when you've come to trust someone else. I had emergency spine surgery on my neck and Dr.Appelboom and his team made it through a snowstorm to due the surgery and save the use of my right hand/arm. I met with Dr. Appelbloom to discuss 2 major issues with my back; a meningioma in my thoracic spine and spinal stenosis in my lumbar spine which contributed to chronic sciatica. Dr. Appelbloom operated two times, both successfully. Dr. Appelbloom is warm and friendly and listened carefully to my needs and concerns. He recommended the best solutions to the problems and I experienced a very successful outcome. Also, his office staff, especially Johanna Mejia, is extremely helpful and responsive!!
