Dr. James Robert Powers, PhD

Like the previous reviewer I too was falsely diagnosed by Dr. Powers in connection with the St. Louis Catholic Archdiocese. Dr. Powers "diagnosed" me as having Narcissistic Personality Disorder and a substance abuse problem, both of which are untrue. I have never met nor spoken with him. His diagnoses was based solely on reviewing interview transcripts with my former spouse and her friends. This man, and his use by the St. Louis Catholic Church and Rev. Aaron Nord, needs to be stopped.

Dr & Deacon John Powers is illegally rendering a false diagnosis of people suffering from mental disorder/bi-polar he has never met and never been referred to by their Primary Physician for the St Louis Catholic Archdiocese so that wealthy spouses who divorce their lifelong legally married spouse can attain an annulment from the Tribunal to remarry in the Church if they promise to donate a large amount of money. I referred this to the Mo Medical Board and to Coventry who used to be his provider. Dr Powers is still doing this illegal practice and is getting paid for it from St Louis Catholic Archdiocese. I was one of his victims and I personally have never been diagnosed with an mental condition or bi-polar disorder and my Dr's wrote letters to Father Aaron North to prove it. This man needs to be stopped. I have now contacted HIPPA asking them to investigate Dr Powers.
