Best decision I've ever made.

An overall life enhancing experience. I have no reservations for chosing Dr. Mishevski to work with.

Scheduling was quick & easy. I had a briefer short-term treatment with Dr. Mishevski, and I am better for it.

Easy as 1,2,3. Everything from setting up the first initial appointment to the end of my brief short treatment went smoothly and without a hitch. She was able to schedule me within the week of contacting her and I feel better for it!

Being a psychotherapist in the area, I am familiar with the mental health options in Northwest Indiana and surrounding areas. Despite the referrals I know Dr. Mishevski gets her business place is not a therapy mill. She’s a one-person business who takes her time with people, and doesn’t claim that you will feel better in an unrealistic period of time. The kind of therapy she does does not tend to just put a ‘band-aid’ on the issue. She does ask some initial questions to determine if she can be of help to you before you even come in. This tells me that she is thoughtful, deliberate, and, ethical in who she chooses to work with. I know that she tends to do in-depth work, which is why I wanted to begin treatment with her. There is no pretense with her. She is down to earth and easy to talk to.

I am writing my review here rather than on Google reviews because I want to remain anonymous. I don't know what exactly or specifically has accounted for the change I see in myself since starting therapy with Dr. Mishevski, but I do feel a difference for the better. She asks questions about things I've never thought about, or makes connections that I didn't see before or realize. It's also been really helpful for me to be more in touch with what I'm feeling...generally, things just make more sense to me now. I feel like I have a better understanding of myself than I ever have before. And that's been extremely beneficial in all areas of my life.

Believe me, you want a therapist who lets you talk about you, and gives you the space to do so. Therapy is supposed to be about you. Dr. Mishevski facilitates the space for you to become more in touch with your inner experience. It's not always a sunny ride to talk about painful things and feelings, but Dr. M is there to help you navigate it all.

I've been seeing Dr. Mishevski online, due to the distancing guidelines during the COVID-19 Pandemic. I thought it would be weird to have therapy online, but I'm finding that I probably would experience the same sort of anxiety going into any office setting too. She is very kind and accepting, and is easy to talk to. If you are waiting until after the pandemic is over to start therapy- don't! I wouldn't hesitate to schedule an appointment with her if I were you! Plus, Anthem BCBS is covering online treatment right now.

I recommend her highly.

I've lived in some major metropolitan area, due to work, and have been in psychotherapy with well-known and respected psychotherapists in each of these cities. Look no further if you live in Northwest Indiana. Dr. Mishevski is a gem of a find!
