Great! - Best dialysis nephrologist I’ve interacted with

Rushed - Dr Shimonov is always late. If my appointment is at 1:40pm he’ll call me in his office at 1:55 pm. Right away he takes my blood pressure which is high due to exertion. Then he looks at the computer, checking different charts and asks if anything has changed from the last time. His notes about my Losartan medication don't reflect the change he made from 50mg to 25mg even though I informed him and his secretary Susan. Also, in his notes, he mentioned that “he lives alone in Queens in a 1 bedroom apartment”: how is that medically relevant? He was highly recommended to me by my primary care physician, Dr Paul Fenyves but my impression of Dr Simonov is that even though he is a good nephrologist, to me he comes across as a rushed professional, hurrying to meet his busy schedule.
