Vibrant colors, sharp edges, clear focus all due to Dr. Alexander Walters and my new light adjustable lenses. Dr. Walters talked to me throughout the surgery which was comforting to a needlessly terrified patient. His instructions for self care were easy to follow. The light adjustments were never uncomfortable. The entire staff at the surgery center and clinic, especially Cassie, were kind and informative, We are fortunate to have such quality of care. Dr. Walters is a gem!

Cataract surgery with light adjustable lens sounded a bit overwhelming to me. Fortunately, Dr Walter’s and his team (shout out to assistant Cassie, Megan in surgery center, Crystal in scheduling) ensured a smooth, clear understanding of every aspect of this experience. From initial diagnosis, everything explained, questions answered, recommended treatment plan was agreed to, I finally felt comfortable. Am about 11 weeks post final lens lock in. 20/20 vision. Dr. Walter’s and Team are amazing!

I’ve been a patient at Asheville Eye for many years and the treatment and surgeries I’ve received have been excellent. Having cataract surgery has been my most recent issue. I’m ecstatic over the results, near perfect distant vision and no more corrective lenses.

Dr. Walters and the entire staff made me feel very safe and secure during and after both cataract surgeries which went exceptionally well with no issues. He and Cassie were exceedingly patient, kind, and knowledgeable during the follow-up visits and LAL adjustments! They answered all my questions and concerns each and every visit and went " beyond" to make sure I was satisfied! I'm very happy with my new ability to read and still see distance without glasses!

Dr. Walters performed bilateral cataract surgery with light adjusting lens placement with success! I now have 20/20 vision and Cassie went above and beyond with her skills in ensuring my comfort and knowledge of the process. It was a comfort having her alongside Dr. Walters when doing the adjustments! Impressive team! Highly recommend!!

Dr. Walters is knowledgeable and skillful. His recommendation as to what type of cataract surgery I should have and "why" was so clear I changed my prior decision and have been very glad I did. The procedures (both eyes) were painless and flawless. I also MUST give Kudos to Crystal, Dr. Walters' scheduler. Crystal is much more than a scheduler! She is empathetic and patient. I called her a number of times and she patiently addressed all my concerns. What a GREAT TEAM!
