"Ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to get into a career path that would make a difference in people’s lives. This interest led me to study sociology at the Montclair State University. In 2007, I graduated Summa Cum Laude with BA degree in Justice Studies after which I began graduate studies at the Columbia University School of Social Work in NY. I obtained MSW degree in 2010 upon which I began professional training in mental health and substance abuse field. Because of my growth oriented mindset, I continue to seek out educational opportunities to enhance my skills and recently completed Executive Leadership Certificate Program at the Cornell University (02/2020). ​​ I truly care for all of my clients and work diligently to help find them the answers they seek. I have been trained in several Evidence Based Treatment (EBT) modalities targeting addiction and mental health disorders: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy at the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy and …Massachusetts General Hospital Psychiatry Academy; Motivational Interviewing, Trauma and Addiction at the Center of Alcohol Studies at Rutgers University among many others. Most recently I attended and completed Level 1 training in Alexandria, Virginia based on the Gottman Method Couples Therapy- research based roadmap to help couples manage conflict and increase satisfaction and intimacy. Over the last 12 years, I have worked across a variety of treatment settings including: partial hospital, community outpatient mental health center, integrated primary care setting with focus on developing Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program and Emergency Psychiatric Screening Center. In my most recent role as a Director of Counseling at a substance abuse treatment facility in Burlington County, I was responsible for executive leadership and program development for individuals with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. I left that position to concentrate on growing my presence in the Princeton community. In 2018, I have completed certification for New Jersey Certified Clinical Social Work Supervisor and provide clinical supervision to peers and professionals seeking clinical licensure. I have worked with a variety of people dealing with circumstances that are unique to their lives but ultimately, I believe, all of us experience similar struggles and triumphs. "
