Dr. Ahmad N Al-Sadat, MD

I've been suffering with different problems for 25 years. Problems like, headaches, migraines, nausea, vertigo, cognitive issues. I saw multiple specialist; one of them,Dr. Chris Hammond, an M.S. specialist in Ogden, a neurologist treated me like I was a hypochondriac. He stated it was migraine vertigo and wrote me off. I guess because I was in my early 20's he didn't take me seriously. Other doctors saw problems with my MRI's and stated they were indicative of a migraine, and there's nothing that can be done. I met Dr. Al-Sadat through a refferal from my primary care physician. He is the only one to believe me. He did all the tests with addition to a spinal tap. It came back that I have M.S. He immediately got me on an IV treatment to speed up the terrible episode I was in. He's also helped me with my migraines caused by lesions on my brain (the spots they said were just migraines). He put me on a monthly injection of Ajovy to help migraines, and Copaxone for my… M.S. Finally an answer; I wasn't crazy! The staff have always been polite, friendly, and courteous. He may be hard to understand at first, but by the 2nd and 3rd appts I caught on. Sometimes accents can be hard to understand, but he speaks english just fine. Ive been a patient of his for more than 4 years now. Thank you Dr. Al-Sadat and staff!!

i finally found a doctor that cares more about his patient than his ego and is willing to look outside the box and work with a patient who presents a puzzle to unravel. He is professional, caring, prompt. His office staff were amazing!!! Kind and helpful, patient. i am very impressed.

I have been suffering with migraines for years. I have had a normal MRI and failing all kinds of medications and did not want any pain medications and he did not push any pain medications at me and listened. I get Botox injections for migraines and have not had any since

all he does is push pills .. he wouldnt run tests or even try to find out what was wrong with me.

I don't know where to even start with my list of complaints with this doctor! Suffice it to say that between him and another neurologist in the Ogden area, (and health care records Dr. Al Sadat obtained without my permission - I refused to sign the release due to info in those records I didn't deem as accurate and he knew it), I now refuse to ever be seen by another neurologist for some serious neurological problems I have unless I am unconscious. Dr. Al Sadat particularly gave me conflicting information and left me feeling traumatized, and unsure of what to do with some potentially life threatening situations. I'm glad I still have confidence in good ol' internists and "lowly" family doctors to give me advice or I don't know what I would do. My conditions have improved dramatically since refusing to see neurologists.
