Dr. Alan Brody, MD

Went through 2 psychiatrists before finding this one. He's gifted. He puts you at ease, something which has to happen before you get into the details. Then I found him helpful in a way that worked for me. He might charge a bit, but you get what you pay for. I wouldn't trade him.

arrogant and disrespectful. just medicates without caring about my opinion.

Insanity. I am being billed for appointments that I unquestionably canceled due to location (state) change... and for some reason he figured I wanted to continue our sessions over the phone, which would be pointless as our sessions were 75% silent and the only reason I was seeing him was to fill my prescriptions. Now I am being referred to his attorney for sessions that I canceled...? Come on. Judging from other reviews I've read, people are feeling like they are being robbed... and bombarded litigation emails after paying thousands!

I've never encountered a doctor (or human) worse than this man. He gave me incomplete invoices (no dianosis codes) so my insurance could not process, then incorrect phone/fax #'s on his invoice. He charged me an insane amount of interest and then tried to sue me. I've paid him THOUSANDS for 2 visits. I've been requesting a copy of my statements and confirmation that they are paid for months. I have received NOTHING from him, not even a response to my emails. He hasn't even awknowledged me. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE

Dr. Alan Brody is one of the few Psychiatrists left that manages meds and does psychotherapy. He is a no nonsense, straight shooter with a gentle hand. He has helped me for many years and I am grateful for all of his help. One of the best things about Dr. Brody is that he listens to all my concerns and we work together to come up with a viable plan of action. He is not a "my way, or no other possible way" kind of doctor. He does not file insurance and he services will require a premium price, but he is well worth it.
